this was all i could manage to draw in 3 hours
some ginzura bs i yelled into the twitter void last night
- gintoki having a little moment of panic after benizakura and having to hold onto katsura for a long time just to make sure hes not dreaming
- because the whole night hed been dreaming about takasugi and about the past and he doesnt talk to him about it but katsura probably knows
- neither of them change out of their clothes and just sleep the whole night holding each other
- for weeks afterward whenever they passed each other in public theyd find some excuse to touch the other, even if its just for a second for reassurance, or for comfort
- gintoki probably thinks about kissing zura sometimes, and every time he almost does he turns away
- bc hes not sure if its some kind of romantic Feeling or if he just wants physical comfort, which he knows zura doesnt want
- i think abt gintoki being confused about romantics a lot
- and he never talks about this shit with zura which has probably gotten him yelled at or punched before
sometimes i can’t believe you’re real
“you know we’re not kids anymore,” he says quietly, breath hot and wet and uncomfortable, but he welcomes it anyway.
“i know.” he moves closer.
i get a lot of feelings about zura’s and gintoki’s relationship lately and i happen to be overflowing with them today
look at that zura who basically became takasugi version 2.0 when gin ‘died’
who wanted to destroy the world. why would he care about protecting jackshit
idk i get this feeling that he changed not because he was angry at the world for taking away gintoki like takasugi was angry at the world for taking their teacher
more like he remembers gintoki’s promise of being to one to cut him down if he ever changes. this was probably a last ditch attempt to try to make him come back from wherever he went to.
