Gintoki and Katsura’s relationship is a story of reconciliation. They weren’t together as friends all these times they knew each other for 20+ years. They parted ways for quite some time, or rather, Gin abandoned Katsura. Still, they managed to come back together as friends and I think that’s what makes this relationship so important to me.
