what is your opinion on kondo/otae? bc it makes me uncomfortable how the gintama fandom treats his stalking of her as nbd and a joke.

I DONT LIKE IT as a ship and as a general thing in the show/fandom?? its gross and basically the only thing keeping me from really liking kondo at all. like the whole stalking the girl you like trope is so gross and uncomfortable and i really wish it wasnt there but. here we are.
not only that. but he’s a cop stalking an underage girl. like how can anyone see their relationship as balanced and healthy ????????????
