i hope the end of naruto is just kakashi taking off his mask and beneath it is an endless void that sucks the entire universe into non-existence
i understand why they haven’t interacted much in shippuden considering sasuke, but i’d really love to see some interactions before the manga ends (or at least their story arc) because they really haven’t united much as a group outside of ninja stuff
yeah but couldnt they have interacted without sasuke?? if they really talked to each other about how they really feel about him i might actually believe naruto when he says they’re friends. id love to see them talk to each other instead of shouting stuff at each other across battlefields

there are so many friendship combos that arent explored in naruto
i want to see them all
when the actual story ends they should just do an entire season of aftermath/epilogue filler. Like “the day konohamaru grows an awkward teen stache and is proud of it” and “gaara and ino; agricultural society showdown!”
