Ino and Sakura being each other’s maids of honor and giving those speeches at each other’s weddings.

At Sakura’s wedding, Ino does all the obligatory teasing and embarrassing memories and forehead jokes. And then she gets really serious and really quiet. And she talks about how PROUD she is of sakura, how proud she is of her beautiful, strong, talented rival and best friend. she talks about how sakura and her are forever and if THIS SCHMUCK SO MUCH AS MAKES SAKURA FROWN SHE WILL PERSONALLY TORTURE HIM IN THE PITS OF THE INTERROGATION DEPARTMENT. And then she bursts into tears and runs out of the hall.

And, at Ino’s wedding, Sakura returns the favor and talks about pigs and unleashes years of pent up blackmail material. And then she gets all quiet and serious and her eyes get all watery. And she talks about how she wouldn’t be the person she is today without Ino. And that Ino changed her life. She talks about how beautiful and kind and bright and strong ino is. And she reminds ino that, no matter what happens, they’re forever. Then she breaks a table by tapping her pinky against it and warns THE SORRY NO GOOD BASTARD THAT IF HE MAKES INO CRY, SHE WILL PERSONALLY SHATTER EVERY BONE IN HIS SORRY GOOD-FOR-NOTHING BODY.
