in like the 5+ years between me dropping naruto and picking it up again, they’ve only become even more boyfriends. wow, amazing

gaara’s stories are usually pretty boring, just things like how he got to pet a dog or someone waved at him (without shouting!!), nothing impressive, but naruto always acts very interested because he knows that stuff isn’t a big deal to him, but it obviously is to gaara.

thinking about after the war naruto visiting gaara a lot, waking up one morning and finally realizing they’re in love. nar storms into gaar’s office, gaara has known for years naruto doesn’t understand why he never told him, the gaar doesn’t even look up. naruto goes on a rampage in suna, apparently everyone knew, and no one cares.
