every few generations is there just a kid born in konoha with HUGE EYEBROWS ??? just one kid. and everyone looks at this kid and thinks. there they are. the next beautiful green beast of konoha. when genin teams are assigned theres absolutely no questions who their jounin sensei is going to be. pass on the green body suit. pass on the bowl cut. none of the green beasts are blood relatives and it doesnt matter.

kakashi regularly going to the yamanaka flower shop to get flowers for rin’s grave. inoichi knows this and is really polite and helpful, when usually he ribs all the young kids that come into the shop, asks them who the flowers are for and teases them.

little ino behind the counter ringing up kakashi’s flowers and just before she can ask who they’re for inoichi swoops in and later explains to her that sometimes flowers are for graves. and ino growing up knowing kakashi as that one guy who comes in regularly for pink lilies and has them all ready for when he does walk in.

like. ino just knowing all the ninjas from the get-go buy flowers for the graves of their friends.
