Ino… I have always believed those words you told me. I always hoped they were true. I wanted to be like you. You were my goal. Thanks to that, I’m here now. That is why, Ino, I want this to be an all out fight. Unless I… really surpass you, it’s meaningless.(Sakura about Ino)

godheadcomplex

what does sakura even get out of a relationship with sasuke after the wish fulfillment? all i can see is sakura giving and giving and sasuke not matching her contributions or helping her grow in return for her “healing” him

smh im so salty about sasusaku (and narusaku) when inosaku is clearly the answer. ino was directly involved in all of sakuras positive development. she pulled her out of her shell and cured her of her insecurities about her appearance and helped her thrive because she thought sakura was full of raw potential and that it would be sad if she stayed a bud and never fully bloomed. ino is why sakura finally developed self-esteem, whereas all sasuke and naruto (unintentionally) do is whittle that self-esteem down. ino protects sakura in the chuunin exams, ino fixes her hair after sakura cuts it ragged during her fight in the forest, ino is the one that literally calls her a beautiful flower and tells her shes grown into someone strong after their fight in the prelims. both sasuke and naruto go down their own paths, separate and sometimes seemingly incompatible with sakuras; ino trains alongside sakura for three years and learns medical ninjutsu under tsunade with her. theyre both great friends AND rivals, and in the naruto series rivals have always been shown to be important for personal growth - they are your motivation to get stronger every day

why cant we all just accept that inosaku is the true path
