here’s a tip:

please don’t bash the characters in the art if the artist is drawing that character because they like the character.

i know it’s HOT AND HIP to tag everything you like with “trash” for some fucking reason, but even if that’s the tag of your amazing otp or ot3 or whatever it’s really really not fun to browse tags (which are, let’s face it, how artists on tumblr view what people think!) and find tags of “trash” “this character sucks” etc.

you obviously like the piece enough to reblog it, but doing that when reblogging it from the artist themselves is REALLY rude and disrespectful and can make people feel really bad. I know you’re reblogging it to decorate your blog, but consider: not leaving nasty ass comments in the tags

if you really must share your thoughts on the character, please don’t do it while reblogging someone’s art or in the tags of said art unless you want to make someone feel shitty (so never, hopefully)

it’s pretty much akin to going on dA, fav’ing a piece, and then leaving a comment like “this character is garbage” like why the fuck would you do that??? please don’t
