ok i love thinking about gintoki not understanding what aromantic is and thinking that theres something wrong with him for not liking zura the same way zura liked him but still not being okay with calling zura his friend because thats not. correct. but he doesnt know what it is. so hes afraid hes hurting zura by pretending he likes kissing and saying i love you even though he DOES but its different the way zura means it and the way he means it, and maybe hes leading him on or something and its so shitty of him to do that to someone he loves. so when he disappears after the war he tries not to think about the fact that hes running away from more than just the fighting and death.
