Non-straight people aren't going to be taken seriously if they insist it's a choice and don't give me that 'that means it's the cis persons fault!!!!' bullshit. If it's a choice why would someone choose to be oppressed - i'm talking gay and bi people here, as they others aren't as mainstream.
its REALLY not non-straight/non-cis peoples fault theyre oppressed though, i dont know why youre trying to police other people’s identities. the ‘its not a choice’ argument is basically compromising with the oppressive mainstream culture and its not non-straight/non-cis peoples jobs to make themselves as appealing as possible in order to be accepted. acceptance is the goal, period, it shouldnt matter what your specific personal identity situation is
