The truth is, being in a wheelchair doesn’t suck. In fact, it’s opened up so many opportunities in my life. What does suck, though, is that my house has steps to get up to the front door. And I can’t afford a wheelchair ramp. It’s a 14” rise in the front, which means I need at least a 7 foot ramp.
