more gintama-hsau-but-not-3z-because-that’s-different:

• gintoki lived out of his car sometime after he finished college and worked a lot of odd jobs until he landed the teaching job and eventually saved enough to get an apartment
• katsura teaches govt or history or something and hes probably on a government watchlist (he also has a duck and says its the class pet but its probably against the rules)
• not sure what tae teaches but shes also the school’s girls wrestling coach or she coaches some kind of sport
• probably gintoki got the teaching job bc zura told him about it (hes been teaching for longer than gintoki)
• because i think zura made him stay over at his place sometimes before that and gintoki couldnt refuse him all the time (zura bought himn a whole pillow and covers and he almost bought a futon for him until gintoki convinced him his couch was good enough)
• katsura had been like scanning jobs listings for gintoki whenever he could for probably years and probably made gintoki crash on his couch so he could read them off to him
• shinpachi and kagura both had gintoki’s art class once and they dont take any other art classes after that but they hang out in his room all the time, at lunch or before school or after school. gintoki tells them all the time to go to class or go home but theyre the only ones who hang around during free periods
• tae frames a photo she took of them and gives it to gintoki and its still the only thing that stays on his desk (in the photo gintoki noticed that she was taking it and starts to complain and shinpachi notices too late. kagura is the only one prepared for it and smiling)
