If you ever get into an argument with someone, please don’t bring up their past transgressions that they have actively sought forgiveness and tried to make amends for and changes towards.

Yeah, its really tempting as a form of temporary retribution, but all it proves in the long run is that you think people can’t change and that you’ll manipulate those who genuinely want to improve their character and are open to criticism into believing they are permanently damaged.

Its incredibly destructive to treat human beings as static commodities who have no fluidity or autonomy over their ethics.
