hello! i live in a household with two elderly people with disabilities, and two twenty year olds with disabilities (one being me). there’s someone moving in in a month with two young children (two years old, and five months old). we also have multiple animals.

we are about to lose power. the last tenant to live here left us with massive damages to the property, a giant bill of $2300 for two months (he had rented the other suite on the property, and used it for his business), and $1100 for the last two. for four months combined, we owe the hydro company $3400. we cannot pay this. it’s either pay the hydro or pay the mortgage, so its either lose power or lose the house. 

we are living paycheque to paycheque as it is. i am so sorry to ask this, but we really, really need help. thankfully, the hydro company has agreed to work with us. this kind of thing happens a lot, and they understood that this was the work of the ex tenant.

they have given us amounts to pay and dates to pay by. we need $1500 by may 29th, $956 by june 15th, and $956 for july 16th. if we don’t get the money, they will shut the power off.
