granted i definitely come from a very westernized background but also like …. i am korean, ive spent a lot of time there, it is an important part of my identity, also my parents are not super westernized and theyve also spent a lot of time in japan so they know what the cultural oppression breakdown is there. and i promise you that there are people with the authority and the background to make judgments who are having these discussions. find them
