Ok so people really need to READ the article but Marvel didn’t donate it, their CEO did- on his own. Out of his personal money. And he didn’t even donate it to like, the guys campaign fund. he donated it to what is (supposedly according to what they are claiming) a fund for veterans.
The CEO is a known jackass, and many of his staff do not like or agree with him. (also in the article)
He isn’t allowed to make any decisions regarding the Marvel films, and many of his suggestions or opinions are ignored by editors and writers.
He is literally just the guy who runs the business end, he is not in charge of the stories and his personal views (however shitty they are) should not reflect on an entire company where so many staff ARE really trying to change things.
Stop acting like the CEO always holds supreme power over the entire company because in this case, he REALLY doesn’t.
