like please pull your head out of your ass and consider that regardless of your intentions, regardless of how you try to frame it off-screen on your personal tumblr (where most of your audience won’t see), your audience is going to see a dude in a dress the same way they’ve always seen a dude in a dress. as a joke. because that’s how they were raised, and you’re not doing anything to challenge that.

like you can argue about what your Real Intentions were on tumblr all you want, but i dare you to go up to any average kid and ask them whether or not they think uncle grandpa in a dress is funny, and how they feel about trans women. and then ask yourself whether you’re DIRECTLY CHALLENGING these opinions, or if your audience, who is so skewed towards hating trans women, is going to interpret this Dude In A Dress joke how they want.
