Israeli forces have opened the gates to several water dams near the Gaza Strip, causing major flooding of up to 3m high in eastern towns in the Gaza valley, instigating the evacuation of up to 80 households. Gazans have reported injuries in addition to livestock death. The opening of the gates came without any prior notification according to the Civil Defence Directorate of Gaza. Massive damages are expected.
