the Beatles have been hailed in numerous countdowns from vh1 to mtg as being the GREATEST band/musicians of all time. Beating Michael Jackson.
They were the first band to really have numerous people weeping and hysterical at their shows. They were like the biggest thing and their effect on music still lives on.
I get not listening to him or not knowing he’s part of the Beatles, but not knowing him or the Beatles in some way is shocking and sad. It’s a huge part of the history of music.
