stop acting as if transphobia is only enacted by uneducated or religious people. stop distancing yourself from transphobia because you’re an atheist or an educated cis person. stop saying that religion is the root of transphobia. just stop it.
By equating transphobia to religion you’re erasing religious trans people as well as letting non-religious bigots slip under the rug.
And that in itself is transphobia.
