If someone in Australia kicks off a new meme just after midnight on New Years eve and it goes viral straight away and gets reblogged all through America in the 8 or so hours before they hit midnight will it be the first meme of 2015 or the last meme of 2014? who decides? who gets to make that call? the UN?
