I mean we should really be talking about the anti semitism in Harry Potter (Snape and the goblins being described as a stereotype of a hook nosed Jew) but none of those discussions ever erupt on tumblr because apparently making a meme out of how ‘JK Rowling answered a question on Twitter what a birch she doesn’t care about representation’ is about as far as the Harry Potter fandom goes when it comes to caring about Jews.
