YEAH MAGIC!!! omg my magic system is kind of complicated but basically anyone can use magic, some people are more naturally inclined to use magic accidentally, and a few people actually try to learn/control magic. so magic users make spells (in the form of spell circles) like on pieces of paper for ppl to use in place of things like flashlights or phones bc this is a post-apocalyptic world and there is no power grid. but they also scavenge random tech and figure out how to make them work again with magic.

so ive got brody right, this self-proclaimed magical genius (and she kind of actually is tbh), and her annoyances/friends stuart and black who both are the type to accidentally use magic but they suck at actual magical theory and they bother her all day (but black bothers everyone. especially stuart. brody doesnt mind black as much). they run an apartment complex together and are probably married to each other.
