I really take a lot of issue with jury selection. Like, I’ve been put off of juries in child molestation cases because I know people who have been sexually harassed and assaulted, and I’ve been put off of juries in cases where the defendant is black because I acknowledge the police as being statistically proven to be biased against black people. But like, you’d have to be living under a goddamn rock to not be aware of this shit, and yet it’s grounds to boot someone from a jury.  Like, yeah no one likes jury duty but I do think there’s something deeply inherently rotten about a selection process that sticks its head in the sand about very real widespread problems in our society for the sake of keeping the case itself ‘neutral.’ Like, when 1 in 5 women are getting sexually assaulted in their lifetime, and you’re kicking everyone off the jury for knowing someone who’s been sexually assaulted, who does that leave on the jury? People who don’t talk to women. People who don’t believe women when they talk about sexual assault. How the fuck is that a fair jury?

On May 24th, several hundred protesters stood on the porch of the Kentucky Governor's mansion, many of who were armed with rifles and demanding for him to come outside. This took place for nearly two hours while many beat on the glass windows of his home. The same group later that day hung an effigy of Governor Beshear from a tree. This group was made up primarily of middle-aged white males and they were protesting over COVID-19 restrictions. In response to this protest, they are now building a fence around the Governor's Mansion. ZERO ARRESTS WERE MADE.

On July 14th, 87 protestors sat in the front lawn in front of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron's house. They were sitting in lines with their hands in their laps. This group was unarmed and made up of mostly young people both white and of color who were demanding justice for Breonna Taylor. Other than his grass no part of the Attorney General's home was touched. ALL 87 WERE ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH A FELONY. They face a sentence of 1-5 years.

This is the story you need to be sharing today.

lettuce-queen-is-valid

You obviously know nothing about men if this is what you think they say

babyitaliano

Men will see a mouse and eat it

lettuce-queen-is-valid

No they won’t because why would anyone eat a mouse that’s stupid not all men are bad and not all men are stupid you may have had a bad experience with a man but not all men are bad granted there bad men but instantly accusing all men as bad is immature I’m dating a man and he is nowhere near stupid and I know for a fact that he won’t eat a mouse and in pretty sure I could name at least five other men that won’t do something as immature as that and saying that a man will see a mouse and eat it won’t get you a anywhere with a man if anything it will drive them away.

babyitaliano

A man will see a mouse and be like is anyone else gonna eat this and not wait for an answer
