30: How many anime episodes is ‘ideal’ for you?

usually im like 'i will ONLY watch anime that are between like 10-30 episodes long’ but then……….. looks at ygo and gintama

36: In your opinion, what makes a good anime?

IT DEPENDS, i usually look at the style of it first?? because if im going to be staring at it for 10+ episodes i need to like it lmao, but ultimately its either the characters or the story/themes that make it good even if its on a completely shallow level

ive kind of already said a lot of why its important to me earlier but its one of the ones i watch or read if im not feelin good and it like…….. calms my soul lmao. its so precious to me. plus i think i took a lot away from urushibara’s style without realizing it, its really good is what im saying

I REALLY LIKE SAMURAI AND I REALLY LIKE HIPHOP?? i guess its more the style i like than the story even though i really like the story too. its action scene inspiration basically

i watched this when i was like a freshman or sophomore in high school and i loved it even though im not really sure what its about?? i dont think i need to know tho. its another style inspiration for me, but more for the narrative style i guess?  the visual one. its interesting and entertaining and theres a lot to dig into and i like that about it

this was really recent and idk if i want to jump into this kind of commitment so soon………. idk, i started watching it at a time when i was kind of unsure of myself and the choices i was making in my life and for some reason it helped. its definitely not perfect and there are things i dont like about it but its reassuring?? somehow?? like a good friend

idk, i dont really pay attention to the fanbase at large even when im watching something so no?? i find a small group of people i like who are into it and thats my entire fandom experience

i havent seen a lot of comedy anime so gintama but ive seen clips of nichijou and it feels hilarious too

not…….. really, i really have no idea whats popular and whats not unless its something like naruto or bleach or op (aka HUGE), but everything else is like, im more or less satisfied with the content i can find. there are downsides to something being incredibly popular which for me outweighs the lack of content in something less popular
