so for some ungodly reason tumblr staff decided it’d be a good idea to allow flashy gifs or incredibly bright images to be a background for the login screen. a lot of people i know are photosensitive and prone to headaches or other, worse things that can be caused by this. so naturally i wrote a small script to disable those completely. hopefully permanently.

you can find it here. you’ll need the browser extension/addon stylish for it to work, which you should be able to get from the website itself if i remember correctly. hope it helps someone o7

and here we go: all current Flight Rising dragon breeds, all together! I used the average sizes for each breed, which is is as follows (in order from left to right in the second image):

Imperial: 21m
Ridgeback: 18m
Guardian: 15m
Snapper: 5m
Pearlcatcher: 5.65m
Mirror: 5.7m
Wildclaw: 5m
Tundra: 3.48
Skydancer: 5.66
Spiral: 3.25
Fae: 1m

and again, the human silhouette is 1.83m/6’. this was a fun project and I think I can get back to actual arts now, and while I enjoy having this reference, I also still take dragon sizes with a big grain of salt (and don’t even get me started on wingspan & weights ok)!

If I shouldn’t need to explain to people why not to say “Hail Hitler,” then I shouldn’t need to explain to them why not to say “Hail Hydra.” I don’t care how cool you thought the Captain America movies were, or if you think its a cute and edgy fandom initiation code. It’s not funny, it’s not a joke, and if you have paid enough attention to be in the fandom that its relevant, you will know that there is no room for ambiguity. Hydra is a Nazi group.

Now, they’re trying to send her back into danger. Aderonke, like dozens of other LGBT asylum-seekers, is stuck in a process that the UK government has already admitted to humiliating and abusing them. It doesn’t work or protect anyone.
