general opinions: i kind of love him??? like i didnt really care abt him during my first watch but i went back and reread his introduction in the manga and im so in love, hes a blockhead but hes also a BUSINESS MAN, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT. 

I DONT LIKE IT as a ship and as a general thing in the show/fandom?? its gross and basically the only thing keeping me from really liking kondo at all. like the whole stalking the girl you like trope is so gross and uncomfortable and i really wish it wasnt there but. here we are.

• who cooks normally? they both can cook but they cook really DIFFERENT things, gintoki will make some tasty junk and katsura will make something healthy but not as strong-tasting so if they ever cook something at home they will FIGHT
• how often do they fight? I JUST TALKED ABOUT THEM FIGHTING, THEY FIGHT ALL THE TIME ABOUT EVERY MINOR THING (by fight i just mean back and forth insults?? you know that calvin and hobbes strip about conversations being contests. its like that. theyre both here to win.)
• what do they do when they’re away from each other? this is a general gintoki thing, he doesnt do it very frequently but sometimes they’ll be doing something and he’ll just go “_____ would probably like this” and everyone else is like ??? whered that come from. otherwise they just do their separate things
• nicknames for each other? zura. zuraa. zuuuuuuuuuuuuraaaaaaaaaa
• who is more likely to pay for dinner? WHO DO YOU THINK HAS MORE MONEY
• who steals the covers at night? GINTOKI definitely, he hogs all the bed space too, when they were younger (during the war) and theyd actually sleep in the same bed or close enough to it, gintoki would take all the covers and then THROW THEM OFF HIMSELF so neither of them had any. katsura would wake up and take the covers back and the circle of life continues
• what would they get each other for gifts? [flat beeping]
• who remembers things? both of them remember a lot but gintoki either pretends he doesn’t or he just never brings it up.
• who cusses more? gintoki’s entire body is a trashcan
• what would they do if the other one was hurt? looks at benizakura arc
• who kissed who first? gintoki i think, katsura wanted to for so long but he kept thinking in circles about it so gintoki just went for it. it was both their first kisses — katsura loved it but gintoki didnt (he never said anything though)
