Help w/ Mother’s Cancer Treatments

Our insurance provider denied coverage for my mother’s treatments.

Made a new post, since I felt there was too much text.

Long story short, I recently found out that my mother has cancer, and my mother and I need assistance to pay for her cancer treatments. We can afford about half of what it currently costs, and we’ll need to come up with another ~$40,000 to pay for everything. We’ve raised about ~$510 so far. My goal is $7000, which will cover for what we can afford for the first month and give us time to search for other options. I made a GoFundMe page, and please head there for more details!

Please donate to the GoFundMe Page instead!

Let me reiterate - our insurance denied us coverage for treatment. Please, any donations are helpful.

Thank you!

Mei’s situation hits close to home for me for a lot of reasons. If you can’t afford to contribute, please reblog. And if you can afford to contribute even a little bit, contribute as soon as possible. Please don’t put it off for later. It’s hard enough to get by in a situation this scary even when you’re financially secure. Not having what you need is just terrifying. So do a good deed and help out!

Non autistic person: “Are you sure you’re autistic? My 5 year old cousin is autistic, and he’s nothing like you?”

Autistic person: “Are you sure you’re not autistic? My 3 year old niece isn’t autistic, and she’s nothing like you? Like, she can barely read, and she likes different things to you? Isn’t it really odd that people twenty years apart in age are different? And that one of them has more skills than the other? In fact, it’s actually really surprising that all people with the same neurotype aren’t totally identical? Isn’t that odd? People are different to each other?”
