Ishidou Natsuo is a prodigy at anything she does - sports, academics, and seemingly even martial arts, nothing challenges her, and with her height, she even loms over everyone else in the school. Until one day she runs into a Yuzuko Mawatori, a shorter fellow student with thick eyebrows who’s trying to recruit people into the school’s MMA club, and, challenging her to a spar, finally finds one thing in life that challenges her… and decides to dedicate herself to MMA in chase of that challenge, and for an opportunity to “wipe that smile off her face”. Highly character focused manga with a deep knowledge and respect of the sport. Imagine if the antagonist in a sports manga was now the protagonist.
