I like to think about the hidden cloud village and social media

(this is kinda long)

Killer Bee is constantly on his iphone, and twitter is always open he has so many followers on his twitter and instagram it’s wild. He gets so many notifications that he turned them off because last time he posted a selfie on twitter his phone buzzed for an hour straight. Raikage got really pissed and the damages done to the phone were irreparable so Bee had to get a new iphone. He tweets in all caps, usually rhymes, and he loves his emojis, his tweets are also really positive and he tries to talk to his fans as much as possible.

Omoi got vine famous from having Killer Bee in them so often. His vines are usually him filming the world around him- and by that I mean pranks Killer Bee has set up for the Raikage and his aides. Karui finds these vines really funny but doesn’t admit to it. Omoi’s twitter has a good number of followers, though almost all he does is retweet stuff like “facts that will blow your mind” and “tweets that make you think”. He also has a sizeable number of vines in which he and Karui do things like dance, plank and take dangerous selfies in public places.

Karui has a twitter she abandoned months ago and a tumblr with 3k followers. She posts a lot of feminist rants, beauty tips, social justice ideals, cute clothes and selfies. Tons of cute selfies of her makeup and outfit for the day. That’s how she got her followers, actually. With her sharp words, she decimates gross MRAs who reblog her text posts with gross comments. She tends to not think through when typing her posts, though, which leads to quite a few spelling and punctuation errors. Her youtube is pretty successful, she has 100k subscribers who follow her for SJ rants and makeup tutorials, few people recognize her as the girl from Omoi’s vines, her social media fame has nothing to do with Omoi’s social media fame.

Darui has a youtube, no videos, 1 subscriber (Cee) He mostly watches music videos and videos of jungle cats. His youtube avatar is literally a stock photo of a panther and his youtube banner is just the color black. He barely adds comments to any videos, and when he does, they’re usually on Cee’s videos. His vine is a whole other story, he has 10k followers at the moment, and his vines usually consist of him and other Kumo jonin (except Cee) slacking off from work and occasionally beatboxing to random objects making noise. He tends to not show his own face in his vines, but instead talks to his jonin friends from behind the camera.

Cee has 5 subscribers on youtube, and he feels like that’s a pretty good achievement. His circle of friends on facebook, however, is much wider. The boy spends almost all of his self-allotted internet time on facebook (that’s about 45 minutes a day) He shares tons of memes from 2011, posts about how “real readers use real books” and lolcats. He doesn’t really get why Atsui thinks his facebook is lame but he doesn’t really consider Atsui’s input on memes from a few years ago important. Cee’s youtube videos are just compilations of funny internet photos and a rant or two on why people should go to libraries. Other than that, his interests mainly lie outside of the internet, and more into books.

The Raikage wont touch social media what the FUCK is a vine and why are people following Darui on it.

Mabui has a facebook and shares cute pictures of cute cats. Her tumblr is pretty abandoned but about once a week she may reblog a makeup tutorial or two from Karui.

Samui watches youtube videos sometimes. She’s not interested in the internet and doesn’t get why the members of her team are constantly on their phones.

Atsui is a griefer on Cee’s youtube videos, apparently. But he claims he’s just “calling em out on the trash they are”. Chill, Atsui, cool down. He’s not anywhere much online but he does play a lot of MMOs. He yells a lot.
