like he’s always taking into account his lack of depth interception and now he tried to grab things and he can’t. he trips over stupid things.  people’s faces seem off

for like twenty years, his post-battle ritual for all his toughest fights has been to cover the eye and sigh in relief. when this fight ends there’s no reason to do that and he walks around for days after the danger is over wondering why he can’t relax

when he walks around with it uncovered he gets little jolts all day long of his reflexes going ‘what are you doing close your eye!!!’ that disrupt his concentration and peace of mind so much it’s just easier to cover it

reading with both eyes gives him migraines

he’s easily startled by motion on his left side because he’s so adjusted to a blind spot (or weird sharingan vision) on that side that he’s hypersensitive to it. or there’s like a disconnect in his brain where it’s just harder to understand what his left eye is seeing than it was before. you know when you see a mirror out of the corner of your eye and it looks like another person for a moment? that kind of disconnect.

the sharingan had such a strong presence, always using chakra, always on, that with it gone it’s like the sensation equivalent of when the refridgerator turns off or your ears finally pop after a long time. some kind of ringing emptiness or blankness or numbness.
