If I wanted to get into gintama, would you recommend starting with the manga or the anime?
personally i started with the anime just bc i read a few chapters first and it felt like the humor translated better in animation? but the manga is still ongoing and the anime has…….. ended??? is on hiatus???? idk. its still 6 seasons worth of episodes though so theres plenty
i did go back and read all (most? idr) of the chapters id skipped of the manga and they were really funny too, plus sorachi’s earlier drawing style is really charming so?? it really depends what you prefer doing, watching or reading (but i watched the anime even though i prefer reading lol)
