I don’t know how it’s for you but for me this was the most important part of the Benizakura. Zura is talking to Takasugi as though the latter is a child who is about to throw a tantrum. He is genuinely trying to help. I really doubt he’d go into this just because he was afraid for his or his other friends’ lives, he’s just really that invested in Takasugi.

I’m 100% sure that weren’t they interrupted he would go on trying to convince Takasugi that he needs help and of course offering his wholeheartedly.
