yun wasnt close to a lot of people in their clan except probably tamlen and merrill, they were never that great at forming close or just regular levels of friendly relationships with others, but they got along ok with everyone for the most part. anyone who knew em though could tell you that they were most open when going out on a hunt. there were mixed feelings in the clan when ey were taken away by duncan.

yeah!!! theres basically no way non-human races who live away from human cultures have human gender binaries or human genders even.
yun had a ritual a year before their real one because the keeper didnt think they were quite ready for it. so the next year they were pretty nervous but did eir best and managed not to cry or yell during the entire thing which was impressive to them at the time. while it was healing they kept poking at the bandages which merrill scolded them for because they’d waited for so long to get it and messing it up would make it meaningless!!
personally ey thought the whole point was just getting through the ritual, the end result didnt really matter, because there were hunters in the clan who had scars going over their vallaslin too, but they liked the idea of being part of something that was traditional and old and bigger than themself, so while it healed they considered it training in self control (which didnt stop em from rubbing and tracing it once it finally did heal though). it was the first time they really thought ey mattered.

- how the game described krem was wrong. i don’t ever want to see anyone using that ‘living as another gender’ bullshit. trans ppl are assigned a certain gender at birth and that gender does not fit them. they are living as the gender they are.
- if you draw fanart of krem without a shirt do NOT use banadages idc how accurate you think you’re perpetuating something that is HARMFUL TO PEOPLE’S BODIES. draw him in a binder.
- stop talking about how great bull is for accepting krem. cis ppl do not get prizes for being decent human beings any more than straight ppl do for supporting mogai rights.
- if you don’t understand social and body dysphoria don’t write about his experiences as a trans person. include him in your fic, ship him w/ ppl, whatever, but don’t make assumptions abt what a trans person goes through.
- always use he/him pronouns w/ krem even if you’re talking about him before he realized he was trans.
- actually listen to trans community in this fandom. if they tell you you’re fucking up, listen, instead of victimizing yourself bc you think you deserve better bc you think krem is hot
