The transgender pride flag is raised for the first time in San Francisco’s Castro neighborhood to mark International Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20.

Today, November 20th, is Transgender Day of Remembrance.
This is a day to mourn and remember those we have lost to transphobic violence, but also a day to honour and thank all those who have come before and help create a better world free of transphobia.

A few days ago, Storenvy implemented a new policy in which it will take 10% of the artist’s earnings from any sale made from the “marketplace”.
For most artists here on tumblr, Storenvy is a fantastic platform to make a few extra bucks. For some, the money they make by selling their art/creations on Storenvy really helps them (I know I am certainly one of those people).
In most cases, when paying for products to be professionally produced, or buying the things needed to produce it themselves, after each sale there isn’t as much profit as you would think. Taking that 10% away can be pretty harmful to artists.
What you can do to help:
If you see something on the marketplace you like, you can easily go to their custom store and purchase it from there instead! Then the 10% isn’t taken from the artist’s earnings.
Here’s how you do it (I will be using my store for example)
This is my marketplace store:
When you search for a series or product you might want, the product comes up on the “marketplace”. That means, unless you have the direct link to the artist’s store, most people are going to making their purchases from the marketplace (that’s how they get you!).
So, for example sake, let’s say you searched for something one of my pieces is tagged as and you see something you like. Don’t click it and buy it.
All you have to do is click this:
And then - ta-da! You will end up at the artist’s custom made store:
When shopping from a custom store instead of the marketplace:
And with just taking the time to click that one extra button, you’re saving the artist money!!
Please consider this and spread it around! I know a lot of artists could really use the money for the items they pay to produce entirely themselves (unlike society6).
Thank you so much!

This is really good!
I went into it prepared to be all like “haha i unsubd from them all ages ago let me prove how good i am” only to find i was subd to one person. no idea who.
i also realised i was still subd to one person’s second channel, so i contacted the guy who made it and let him know.
do do the same thing if you spot one that’s not on here cos this is a great idea.

dead. broken. im going to find sorachi
hello i might never recover from gintama ever again unless every character hugs gintoki by the end of this arc
let’s talk about how zura feels. because there was a choice, it was his life our shouyou’s, and he was the one who survived. that’s why he is still with the joui, he will follow his ideals until the very end because he is not giving up knowing the cost of every breath he takes form now on. that’s why he still have faith in takasugi and tries to hold him together, show him the right path. that’s why he is the most loving, forgiving person in this world, the best friend in the universe. maybe that’s even why he is a dark haired version of shouyou. and he does all of that not only because of he is the one who lives, but also because he acknowledges what gintoki did. that’s the reason he can forgive him. he understands the weight of that choice is is aware that throwing his life away, giving up, is not the way to honor his friend’s sacrifice.
I just got reminded of this because someone tweeted about sneaking chipotle into the movie theater.
When you sneak food into a theater, DO NOT throw the trash away in their garbage’s. The employees get written up, and possibly fired when the managers find out that people are sneaking in food.
I understand that concessions is over priced so I get why you sneak in food, but please don’t get someone in trouble for it. Just throw away the trash at home.
Reblogging this because at my work tonight someone literally got fired on the spot because someone snuck a beer in.
Don’t destroy someone’s source of income just because you didn’t want to put your garbage in your jacket for 10 minutes.
