NYPD is telling news stations not to show any footage of the protesters. Don’t be fooled by what you see of the Macy’s Day Parade on TV right now; while chipper news anchors are cheering about balloons and people in costumes, there is a revolution happening right behind them that the media is completely ignoring and CENSORING from view.

Things You Will Not See on ABC This Morning:

—A group of SEVERAL HUNDRED (confirmed) No Justice No Peace protesters have been marching the side streets of the parade route since 12am.

—At 6:14am (earliest timestamp I could find), police formed a barricade to prevent peaceful protesters from reaching the parade. (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B3dGpX9IMAAM1Ne.jpg)

—At least four arrests have been made (POC, of course) (www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aF6A77ih_4). Neville Watson, Matthew Martinez, Calvin Griffin are the only names I could find. Crowdsourcing funds were immediately set up for their bail.

—One violent altercation has occurred between police and protesters on 37th and 7th.

—Those listening to police scanners have confirmed that the police have instructed news outlets NOT to show protesters. (7:14am)

—Make that six arrests. Two more were JUST made in a violent altercation on 37th. (10:27am) Batons were used. Cannot confirm whether a protester or cop was the instigator.

—What little coverage these protests are receiving refers to these protesters as “agitators” and “anarchists.”

I just wanted everyone to know what you are NOT seeing on TV.

i can tell you right now that ben-c, formerly fuck-benedict, is making posts about ferguson solely for notes and to make people forget she is racist, has used anti-black slurs, and a transmisogynist.

shes even tagging her popular ferguson posts with tags like “10k” so people will see how far her posts reach when they browse her blog. she is proud of the notes not because of the posts visibility but because it’s bringing traffic her way.
