Scotland folk, do not go to the Ferguson Solidarity March in Glasgow tomorrow, it is being run by two white organisers (from Anonymous lol) and there are no black speakers. There have been anti black comments made on the event page with no word from the organisers. They are also trying to frame it as a justice issue rather than white supremacy and police brutality. Please attend the Ferguson Solidarity March in Edinburgh this Wednesday. It is organised by black students and has black speakers. It starts at Bristo Square at 3:30pm and will march to the American Consulate. Please spread this around and tell people who were planning to go to the Glasgow protest.
there’s a protest in la right now and a person was streaming it for about 2 hours. what was seen by myself, and thousands of others, is more than injustice. it’s inhumane. police were threatening, calling the protesters slurs, and even beating many who were in their way. they detained everyone and are claiming to arrest each protester tonight with no explanation or valid reason. those who questioned remain without answers.
