or don’t do that because you can freeze the artist’s paypal account and sometimes even your own account. it’s considered suspicious activity, especially if the artist is doing a lot of commission work… you can use the paypal fee calculator to determine how much you should send the artist so that they receive the amount they’ve quoted you. i know many artists who use paypal that will even discuss the responsibility of the paypal fee with their client.

paypal is a business too, and they won’t hesitate to hold your account if they believe you’re taking money from them.

my family recently came out of homelessness and have been trying to get on our feet for a little while… its me.. my mom.. and 3 younger siblings (a 12 yr old brother and 2 8yr old sisters) …we also send money to family in mexico twice a month… (about 200$ a month) 

i havent been able to help as much i need to… i am in the process of trying to get ssi.. but currently the only income i bring is everything i make with my art. my mom is borrowing money from family members so we can pay for bills on time„, my mom job doesnt pay much n we’re a big family so im trying really hard to help her pay for any expenses
