Nope, but actually she is, sort of. Someone hijacked her picture. Her name is Alicia Crawford, and she actually is a real game designer. She’s working really hard to make game design a less male-dominated field and make it more welcoming to other women, and apparently that pissed someone off so they’re using her picture to spam people.

Lizz Hickey has since tried to remove evidence that this happened to avoid accountability for using her influence to make aggressively classist and ableist gestures in the alt comics & art community.
If you need me to explain why this is wrong:
This is an effort to target and humiliate artists who cannot afford to make art in their free time as a hobby. Lizz Hickey is trying to push forward the idea that the art community around her should be exclusively made up of people who are financially secure enough to not need money.
Lizz Hickey is expressing an explicit desire to exist within an community exclusively of middle and upper class people, a community that places inherent value on being wealthy enough to survive without asking to be paid for content. She seeks to chastise those whose ability to subsist and sustain themselves is different from her own. She wants her peers and the organizations that support her to echo her sentiments and share these ideas with her.
This is a direct effort to devalue, shame and remove low income artists from the circles that she participates in.

and let me introduce you others who cant stand: the millions of innocents butchered by this country
you know it is funny because no constitutional right of any living american has ever been credibly threatened by any foreign power whatsoever and yet the american government violates them on a fucking constant basis, including by illegally forcing children to stand for the pledge
Some stills from “The Boy and The Beast” (Bakemono no Ko) 1st trailer which will come in few hours. New movie by Mamoru Hosoda (Wolf Children, Summer Wars, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time).
So many Black people, women, queer, and trans people are living in darkness and fear these days, everyday. Wondering if we will die today, if our loved ones will have their lives stolen today. There is so much heaviness weighing on our hearts. Black folks are literally out here getting killed for existing while Black. I tremble in fear at the thought that one day my grandma or mama or sisters might get murdered by some random white person, some security guard, some cop who doesn’t see the instrinsic value of their lives.
I fear they will die for not moving right, for not blinking correctly, for playing, for daring to being human. But then I fall into sadness realizing how seldom the deaths of Black women, girls, and femmes are centered within the public imaginary. and how their narratives will probably go untold. I shudder in coldness as I realize that their narratives will probably never be told.
