of the origins ive played (dalish, city elf, human, dwarf commoner, mage) i think the dwarf commoner one is my fav!! brosca is so powerful.

i havent played any of them past their origins besides yun lmao, but if i ever do i think theyd be in the same universe. just a whole party of wardens. no one dies in the joining

not really, for a long time they felt trapped because it seemed like the only way they wouldnt die from the taint, but after they realized the immensity of the blight they decided they needed to accept being a warden in order to stop the darkspawn/kill the archdemon
they still feel like their life was stolen from them though, deep down

theres nothing to regret bc to them they didnt have much of a choice, but if they decided not to join they wouldnt have met all the dao companions!! also theyd be dead.

yun was a little weirded out by the idea of an animal that was bred to kill that humans also kept in their homes and treated like family but when they met the dog they saved in ostagar on the road they couldnt NOT keep it. they named it cau (“cow,” alistair snickers)

Hey! Mel here. I hate to do this on New Year’s Eve, but my mom just went through my sister and my closet and ripped everything out and basically ruined it. I have the rest of my stuff packed but I fear for my safety. The reason? My sister voiced her complaints about my mom leaving us on New Year’s Eve to go to a party.
Things escalated, and my mom KNOWS I am trans and refuses to call me by my name/pronouns. She’s blatantly transphohic, not to mention ableist. She says that since she named me, I’m attacking her.
She is unpredictable and dangerous and I don’t want to stay with someone who misgenders me and makes me feel worthless on a daily basis any longer. She is also the main cause of my hospitalizations.

My mom reads tarot, she spied some of the tarot artwork on my computer so I filled her in on how each character in the game has a related card, and they change based on things that happen in game and their relationship with your character.
I told her about Solas’ card becoming The Tower after the end of the game. She stopped the entire conversation with the most serious momface I’ve ever seen, “that card is no joke. You need to stay away from that elf.”
