From what I know: gunmen entered a kosher marketplace in France on Friday, the day before shabbat so it was busy, and started firing. 2 people were killed and 5 hostages who were women and children were taken hostage.
This all started about 3-4 hours ago but we are still in the dark as to how the hostages are.

Despite Mr. Li’s account and the visible injuries to Mr. Li’s eyes, face, shoulder, leg, and hand, the commanding officer ordered Mr. Li to be arrested. At the precinct, Mr. Li was detained for two hours, during which time, no interpreter was provided and no explanation given as to why he was arrested. Charged with assault, Mr. Li was given a desk appearance ticket to appear in court on January 9, 2015.On December 16, 2014, Mr. Li went three times with an interpreter to Precinct 109 to bring a criminal complaint against the young man and woman which was his right to do, but each time he went he was told he could not file a complaint. It was only after the incident was reported to elected officials, that Mr. Li was finally allowed to to file a complaint on December 20, 2014. A grave injustice has been done to Mr. Li. We demand that all charges against Mr. Li be dropped immediately.

okay so I looooove Gintama and I have for many years, but I've actually only seen the anime. I've wanted to read the manga for a while but the way people are reacting to it says "maybe not"... Should I still do it? Read the manga, I mean.. Is it worth it?
well not all the chapters/arcs have been animated and i dont think people are reacting to the manga in a ‘the story is shit’ kind of way (at least, not that ive seen) its more like a painful story arc right now hence all the screaming….. i think its worth it if youre into reading manga tbh, i really like how the humor translates in comic form

So, my mother has decided the best way to motivate and inspire someone on a depressive downswing is to kick me out of the house.
I will be homeless as of February 1st. My mother has promised to pay a year’s rent if I can find an apartment, but my credit is shit and I’m unemployed right now, so no one will take me.
I’m not asking for money. What I need is a place to stay and/or a job. I have a car, a Masters degree in Urban Planning, and retail experience. However, I also have $80,000 in student loans, major depression, and terrible job-hunting skills.
So, if anyone can help me with the housing or job situation, please drop me an ask. I’d prefer to be in the Philadelphia/central New Jersey area, but beggars can’t be choosers and anywhere will do.
