the worst thing adults do is when kids/teens are complaining and they laugh it off or say that it gets worse or “just wait until you have a job!” like… in most cases it seems like more of an attempt to validate their own complaints by telling the kid that they dont have it that bad which is kinda selfish and telling the kid to be pessimistic about their future.. really does not seem like a good idea
