My brother’s cat ran away for two weeks because she managed to get out of her harness while he was outdoors, and he hadn’t microchipped her. He was devastated for those two weeks until we found her. If you see missing cat posters around the neighborhood that’s probably a good indicator it’s an escaped indoor cat. At least call up local animal control and see if anyone has reported their cat as escaped.
